We make and sell bamboo textile products already
and have a good knowledge of the use of bamboo fibre .
Bamboo grows at a metre a day and is therefore
the most sustainable fibre. Bamboo is mainly cultivated but needs no
irrigation, no pesticides & no insecticides. Bamboo absorbs massive amounts
of CO2, whereas Polyester, Nylon and Acrilan are polymers (plastics) The
textile products made from bamboo and cotton are naturally degradable in the
ground in approx 1 year.
